Early English Music List (EEMusic-L) is a moderated list sponsored by ExLibris.org [www.exlibris.org]. The list has its origins in the website Early English Musick 1385-1714 [www.exlibris.org/eem/index.html], a biographical dictionary of English and British composers, musicians and performers, their lives and works. The intent of the list is to provide a forum for scholarly dialogue on a broad spectrum of topics relating to early English music during the period of 1357-1714 with a focus on Tudor and Stuart Britain. Topics of interest might include history, theory, analysis, and social aspects of music in England and Britain. In addition, the list is available for an exchange of information and ideas relating to research issues and bibliographic resources as well as conference and seminar postings.

Subscribing to EEMusic-L

Subscribe to EEMusic-L by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the members list is available only to the list administrator.
